Explore the Wonders of the Black Umfolozi River
The Black Umfolozi River in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, snakes through diverse terrains, starting from Vryheid and joining the White Umfolozi to form the Umfolozi River. However, the 1950s saw ecological shifts from sugarcane farming impacting its sediment, crucial for the St. Lucia Estuary. Today, this river is part of the biodiverse Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.
